An interactive piece that generates graphic artworks together with the audience. When working with a piece of software, we rarely think about the fact that the creators of the program are also our co-authors. The algorithms they embed in the program do not merely predetermine the nature of our work with it, but also significantly influence the results of that work. “Performance of meaning” exquisitely exposes this dependency: the viewer-user is asked to draw a line on the screen, then artificial intelligence comes in and creatively develops the person’s idea.
