After 00.00 the city begins a whole new life. Streets empty, bars and nightclubs open for business... Shots of a DJ, a photo model, journalist, unemployed musician, bar owner, architect, salesman, housewife, programmer... What do they have in common? Why do apparently normal people pile into smoke-filled rooms and assume an entirely new nocturnal identity? What is happening? An attempt at collective amnesia, an escape from loneliness, or simply the quest for new sensations? Who are they? Urban dreamers, members of a secret society, or just idlers with nothing better to do? In this project Konstantin Semin tries to decipher a story written on the faces of random visitors to bars and clubs, tries to understand what compels them to greet the dawn in a sleepless city, again and again...
